The Cape Coral Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency serving the people of Cape Coral, Florida. Cape Coral is the second largest city in our state (by land area), and the most populous city between Tampa and Miami. Cape Coral is a beautiful waterfront boating community with more than 220,000 full-time residents.

The Cape Coral Police Department is one of the fastest-growing agencies in Florida. We are accredited internationally by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). Cape Coral Police Department is an industry leader in police training, technology, and community engagement.

We have over 307 sworn officers and over 110 civilian staff who are dedicated to keeping our city safe. The Cape Coral Police Department is made up of six bureaus:
