Carbon is dual certified in Patrol and Narcotics.  Carbon has had several large narcotics finds in his three years on the road.  He also had a notable physical apprehension of a fleeing felon that had run from the police into a residential neighborhood after crashing a stolen vehicle while armed and in possession of narcotics.  Carbon located both suspects attempting to hide in the bushes behind a house during the area search.  Carbon is extremely high energy and likes to run and chase.

Prior to the K-9 Unit, Officer Scrobe worked in the Training Unit and on Road Patrol.  Officer Scrobe has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and minor in Criminology from Missouri State University. 

In addition to the K-9 Unit, Ofc. Scrobe also serves as an operator on the SWAT team, is a Field Training Officer, and certified EMT.  He is also a certified instructor for Firearms, Defensive Tactics, Driving, and Tactical Medicine.
