Subject: Cape Coral Police Partner with Radiology Regional by Bringing the Mobile Mammography Bus to Police Headquarters

In honor of October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Cape Coral Police have partnered with Radiology Regional Center by bringing the "Mobile Mammo Bus" to Police Headquarters.

The Mobile Mammo Bus is a customized, mobile breast imaging clinic, bringing the latest technology in digital mammography directly to locations throughout the community to provide a convenient way for women to have their yearly mammography.

The bus will be at Cape Police Headquarters on Wednesday October 19th from 9a-2p providing screenings for Police Department employees. The service is for both sworn officers and civilian staff.

"We value our employees and their families here at CCPD and when Radiology Regional reached out to us with this opportunity, we jumped on it. Our employees have been directly affected, as have members of our families, by this disease. Anything we can do to help, we're gonna do it. We're proud to participate in breast cancer awareness month in this proactive way."- Lieutenant Tony Sizemore.
