Subject: Cape Coral Police Detectives Arrest Suspect in ApplianceBurglary

Cape Coral Police Detectives have arrested Lucius Clay Bruner of CapeCoral on charges of Burglary, Grand Theft and Dealing in StolenProperty.

On February 23rd of this year, Bruner forcibly entered a home at 119 SE24th Avenue in Cape Coral. Once inside, Bruner stole the washer anddryer valued at $600, loaded them into his truck and took them to arecycling center in Fort Myers and sold them for scrap. Bruner was given$73.50 for the appliances.

Veteran Detective Tony Goliszeski investigated the case and developedBruner as a suspect. Representatives of the recycling center identifiedBruner as the person who sold the items.

With the positive ID from the lineup, Detective Goliszeski had probablecause for the arrest of Bruner. On March 23rd Detective Goliszeskiarrested Bruner for the crimes
