Cape Coral Robbery Suspect Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison
(March 14, 2012)- A North Fort Myers man who Cape Coral Police arrested for robbery in July of 2011 has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his crime.
On July 27, 2011 Cape Coral Police responded to a home invasion robbery at 1808 SE 8th Place in which Brian Scott Pynes (and 3 co-defendants) committed the crime.
On March 13, 2012 in Lee County Court, Pynes pled guilty to Robbery, Burglary of Dwelling, 2 counts Aggravated Assault w/Firearm and Possession of Firearm by a Convicted Felon. He will be remanded to a Florida State Prison for 15 years with a Career Criminal designation of Prison Re-Release Offender.
The other defendants are still waiting trial.
