Cape Coral Man Sentenced to 13 Years in Prison for DUI Manslaughter

(March 26, 2012)- Joshua Lee Reynolds of Cape Coral was sentenced on Thursday to 13 years in prison for a DUI Manslaughter conviction. On September 12, 2009 Reynolds was driving a 2003 Ford Truck on Veterans Pkwy when he was involved in a serious crash at the intersection of Country Club Blvd.

Reynolds ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle. A passenger in the vehicle that Reynolds' truck crashed into was ejected from the vehicle and died.

Reynolds' blood alcohol content was .151, almost twice the legal limit. Joshua Lee Reynolds was arrested for DUI Manslaughter on May 24, 2010 once the results of his toxicology were known.

On March 22, 2012 Reynolds was sentenced to 13 years in state prison.
