Cape Coral Police Need Help Identifying Home Invasion Robbery Suspects

(May 31, 2013)- On Thursday May 30th at approximately 1:50pm, two unknown B/M suspects committed a home invasion robbery at 702 SW 11th Street.

The resident reported that she opened the front door after someone rang the doorbell. Upon opening the door, the resident observed a B/M dressed in a suit holding a briefcase and armed with a handgun. The suspect forced his way into the home and was shouting in English (the residents speak only Spanish and did not understand).

The female victim fled the home out of the front door and ran to a neighbor. One of the suspects began to chase the woman. The male victim was confronted by the other suspect who made motions for him to get on the ground as he pointed the gun at him.

Seconds later, the suspect exited the home and went back to a car in the driveway. The first suspect who was chasing the female stopped and ran back to the car in the driveway as well and both suspects fled the scene in their car. Nothing was taken from the home and no one was injured.

The residents have a security camera system and the suspects and their vehicle was captured on video.
