“Our community simply doesn’t accept that a person can live in Hollywood Florida, come rent a house in a Cape Coral neighborhood and begin producing hundreds of pounds of drugs. This isn’t your casual, personal use, pot smoker. This is a dangerous criminal enterprise that has already proven deadly in our city.
Marijuana grow house operations attract violence in the form of robberies and even murder. They are not safe for surrounding neighborhoods. Our residents know this and they expect law enforcement to take care of it”-Lieutenant Tony Sizemore.
