Results of Cape Coral Police Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Operation

(August 31, 2013)- If you were driving through Cape Coral on Friday night, chances are good, you saw red and blue lights.   

Officers from all over Southwest Florida came together at the Cape Coral Police Department to conduct a traffic Enforcement Operation a part of the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign.  From 10:00 PM until 2:30 AM, these officers flooded the streets of Cape Coral looking for traffic violators, but specifically looking for impaired drivers.

As a result, 5 physical arrests were made (4 for DUI, and 1 for Driving With a Suspended License), 25 moving violations were found, 9 non-moving violations were found, 1 criminal traffic citation was issued, and 22 warnings were given.
