Cape Coral Police Arrest Two for Lewd Acts in Cape Coral Park
(February 21, 2014)- Cape Coral Police arrested two subjects for indecent exposure in one of Cape Coral's most popular parks Thursday afternoon.
After receiving complaints from park-goers of people engaging in lewd activity at Rotary (Glover Bight) Park, the Cape Coral Police Department tasked its Vice, Intelligence, and Narcotics Unit (VIN) with investigating and addressing the problem.
VIN Detectives set up an undercover operation on Thursday. In less than the span of an hour, undercover detectives were approached on two separate occasions by men who exposed themselves and attempted to engage in lewd acts with detectives.
Both subjects were arrested without incident and later transported to Lee County Jail.
ARRESTED: Eugene Charles Ferrante, W/M, DOB: 07-25-1938.
CHARGES: Indecent Exposure of Sexual Organs.
ARRESTED: Joseph John Law, W/M, DOB: 04-20-1972, of 920 SE 31st St., Cape Coral, FL.
CHARGES: Indecent Exposure of Sexual Organs, Possession of Marijuana Under 20 grams.
One of the subjects, (Law) was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana which was discovered during a search of his person incident to arrest. He was charged accordingly.
