Traffic Stop Leads to Counterfeit Money, Warrant
(April 30, 2014)- Yesterday at around 11:15 PM, Cape Coral Police conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of 7-11 located at 825 Del Prado Boulevard South for a minor equipment violation. At the request of the officer, Cape Coral Police K9 responded and conducted an open air sniff of the car. The K9 alerted to the presence of drugs inside and a narcotics investigation began.
Inside the car, officer located marijuana residue inside the car where the driver and passenger were sitting. As officers conducted a search of the occupants, they located two counterfeit $20 bills on the passenger, Kindler Occely, B/M, DOB: 07-31-1991, of 2349 Stella Street, Fort Myers, FL. An additional eight counterfeit $20 bills were found inside the vehicle where Occely was sitting. A Cape Coral Police Detective and Secret service Agent responded as well.
Occely initially said that his name was Stanley Louidor, but later confessed that he did so because he knew he had an outstanding warrant.
ARRESTED: Kindler Occely, B/M, DOB: 07-31-1991, of 2349 Stella Street, Fort Myers, FL.
CHARGES: Possess Counterfeit Bills, Giving a False Name to LEO, Warrant- Failure To Appear.
