Cape Coral Police Department Needs Your Help Identifying a Retail Theft Suspect


(May 26, 2014)-  Cape Coral Police need your assistance identifying and locating a retail theft suspect from an incident that occurred on May 19, 2014, at the Wal-Mart located at 1619 Del Prado Boulevard S.

A loss-prevention officer observed an unknown male select merchandise- a computer mouse, with his hands.  The male entered the hardware aisle, ripped open the package, and concealed the merchandise into his pocket.  Loss-prevention kept the male under constant observation as he proceeded past all the registers and exited though the garden center passing all points of sale without paying for the concealed merchandise.  The male suspect fled into an older model blue Ford pickup and exited the store with one additional male and female.  The value of the stolen mouse was $79.88 and was not recovered.  The pickup truck was last seen traveling south toward Four Mile Cove Parkway and turned west toward Del Prado Blvd.

The white male suspect appears to be between 18-25 years of age, thin build, short blonde or light brown hair and was wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored wind suit pants.
