Active Robbery Investigation- Walgreens (2409 Santa Barbara Boulevard South, Cape Coral)

 

(August 14, 2014)- At 1:22 PM, Cape Coral Police responded to the Walgrens located at 2409 Santa Barbara Boulevard S. on what appears to be a strong-arm robbery.  Preliminary investigation has revealed that a suspect shoved a store employee and stole an undisclosed amount of US currency from the register.  The suspect fled the scene on foot.  There was no reports of weapons.

Cape Coral Police Patrol, Traffic Units, and Aviation are in the area looking for the suspect who, at this time is still at-large.  Detectives and Patrol Officers are on-scene at this time.

The public will see a heavier-than-normal police presence in this area as we continue to look for the suspect.
