(January 29, 2015)-  A Cape Coral man who was busted by narcotics Detectives twice last year for drug trafficking, has taken a plea that will land him in prison for 15 years.

Lorenzo Marquez, W/M, DOB: 03-16-1966, of 3802 SW 3rd Street, Cape Coral, FL pled guilty on Tuesday to two counts of Trafficking in Opiates- Trafficking heroin (22.8) grams, and Trafficking in his homemade pills that he was pressing (779 pills/118.5 grams) which were also an opiate.

"This is an example of the outstanding work the men and women of the Cape Coral Police Department Vice, Intelligence, and Narcotics Unit do.  We want to thank the State Attorney's Office for their hard work in getting this case ready and in securing the plea that will get a big  drug dealer off the streets of Cape Coral for a long time to come."- Det.
