(October 27, 2015)-  The Cape Coral Police Department and Fifth Third Bank are offering a free fraud protection seminar for citizens.

Join us at the Cape Coral Police Department Headquarters on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Officers from the Cape Coral Police Department and banking experts from Fifth Third Bank will give an engaging and informative presentation covering ways you can protect yourself and reduce your risk of becoming a victim of fraud.

“Fraud and financial crimes are one of the fastest growing segments of crime we see nationwide, and in SW Florida. It’s great to get information from the perspective of a community partner and corporate leader in this space like Fifth Third Bank.”- Det. Sergeant Dana Coston, Cape Coral Police Department Public Affairs Officer.

"We are very excited to be partnering with the Cape Coral Police Department to present on Fraud Protection. It’s one of the many ways we continue to serve the community to educate them on financial awareness.” - Jacob Underwood, Financial Center Manager at Pine Island.
