(November 17, 2015)-  The Cape Coral Police Department wants to remind drivers to buckle their seat belts.  The next "Click It or Ticket" campaign of 2015 has started.  Starting today November 17, 2015 and running through November 30, 2015, Cape Coral Police are joining with law enforcement agencies all over the state and will be focusing on enforcing seatbelt use.  Officers will be looking for seatbelt violations as primary offenses and will be issuing tickets instead of warnings to drivers who don't buckle up, or who don't have their passengers properly restrained.

" The Click It or Ticket campaign helps raise awareness to get drivers in the habit of buckling up as well as their passengers.  Seat belts do save lives."- Det. Nicholas Malone, Cape Coral Police Department Assistant Public Affairs Officer.
