(March 5, 2015)-  An investigation into some stolen vehicles has turned into an investigation involving cases all over Southwest Florida.

This investigation was initiated by the Cape Coral Police Detectives  but quickly became a multi-jurisdictional investigation involving the Lee County Sheriff's Office, Punta Gorda Police Department, and Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.  Florida Highway Patrol Troop F, assisted CCPD Detectives in apprehending these suspects as they attempted to take two jet skis and two ATVs, that had been stolen out of Punta Gorda, across Alligator Alley heading to Miami.
