(June 15, 2015)- Cape Coral Police Detectives want a pair of Grand Theft suspects to have more than a "close shave" with law enforcement; they want them behind bars, and they need your help.
On May 28, 2015 approximately 6:00 PM, Cape Coral Police responded to the Wal-Mart at 1619 Del Prado Blvd S., in reference to a past-occurred Retail Theft.
According to Wal-Mart Loss Prevention, on May 16, 2015, an unknown male grabbed a bag off of a shelf at approximately 5:00 AM and went directly to the razor aisle. Once he was in the razor aisle he selected multiple razors and concealed them in the bag. The male then proceeded past all registers without paying for the concealed razors. He exited through the entry/exit doors near the grocery section, passing all points of sale. The male then ran into the parking lot where he was picked up by a silver SUV (unknown make and model). The driver of the SUV is not visible through the video.
51 non-electric razors were taken; total value of merchandise was $1,864.19 and was not recovered.
The same male and an accomplice attempted to take more razors the following week on May 21, 2015 at around 2:30 AM, but were stopped by store employees. These same suspects are wanted in connection with numerous retail thefts of razors all over Southwest Florida, totaling over $12,000.
