(June 5, 2015)-  After months of investigation, Cape Coral Police Detectives have arrested a man suspected in numerous credit card fraud cases all over Cape Coral.

Detective Hattaway with the Cape Coral Police Department Financial Crimes Unit arrested 29 year-old Wilshawn Worlds, of 1042 NE 7 Pl., Cape Coral on 8 counts of credit card fraud and 3 counts of Grand Theft yesterday.

Investigation revealed that over the last several months, Wilshawn Worlds was using at least 8 different victims' personal information and using their credit cards to make illegal purchases. Post-Miranda, Worlds gave a full confession.

"Financial crimes such as this are the fastest growing segment of criminal activity we see.  Fraudsters act almost with impunity because they believe they won't be caught. We are glad to have proven at least one such Fraudster wrong."- Det.
