(July 17, 2015)- A second person has died in a July 4th crash that already claimed one life.
On July 17, 2015 at 12:12 am, Joan Ortiz, 78, of Salem, SC, a passenger in Vehicle #2 , died at a local hospital due to injuries suffered in the traffic crash. This is the second fatality from this crash. The first was passenger Paul Ortiz, 84, who died on July 5.
This case is an active DUI Manslaughter investigation.
