(July 23, 2015)- Yesterday morning around 4:00 AM, Cape Coral Police responded to the 900 block of SW 54 Ln. on a vehicle burglary in progress. The caller heard their car alarm go off and when they went outside to check, they saw a subject fleeing on foot from their residence.
Cape Coral Police Patrol Officers set up a perimeter and called for aviation to assist. Officers located a subject, known to Officers as Falcon Ray Faustini, hiding under a vehicle in the area. The suspect took flight after being given commands to stop, but was located a short time later hiding in a canal. Faustini was removed from the canal and taken into custody.
It was confirmed that Faustini is on felony probation and was in violation of a court imposed curfew as a condition of his probation. Cape Coral Police Department property Detectives responded to assist in the burglary investigation. Officers located additional items that they believe to be related to additional burglaries in area. These items were submitted as evidence at the Cape Coral Police Department Evidence Room. Follow up investigation is ongoing with additional charges pending.
