(October 13, 2016)-  Be on the lookout! Cape Coral Police Detective are asking for your help locating and identifying a robber.

On Thursday, October 13, 2016 at around 9:00 AM Cape Coral Police Department Officers responded to a strong-arm robbery that occurred at Winn-Dixie, 1016 Cape Coral Parkway E.

The suspect entered the store and stole cash from the register, injuring the 71 year-old clerk in the process. 

The suspect fled on foot, with an undisclosed amount of US currency, toward the southeast corner of the building.  The suspect is described as a white male, medium skin tone, approximately 5'7"-5'8", medium build, with black scruff/bearded facial hair, possibly in his mid to late 30s.  The suspect was wearing a tan hat with a dark colored bill, a blue in color long sleeved shirt with a white stripe across the chest, and dark colored basketball shorts with a white stripe down the side.
