(December 20, 2016) - The Cape Coral Police Department is seeking help in identifying the suspect of an auto part theft from a local business. 

On December 18, 2016 the owner of 3D Murphy Beds at 2512 Andalusia Boulevard (North Cape Industrial Park) contacted Cape Coral Police regarding a past occurred theft.

Upon returning to his business from vacation, the victim in this case reviewed his security footage and witnessed a white male behind the business removing a Ford truck wheel rim valued at $850. Further review of the cameras showed the male arriving in a maroon Dodge Ram 1500 2-door, made between 2002-2008. The truck had a black rim on its front right tire and a silver rim on the rear right, and a female passenger was also in the truck. The timestamp on the cameras showed that this incident had occurred on December 17th at around 12:30pm.

The business owner did not give anyone permission to take the wheel rim, and is pressing charges. Anyone that has any information or can identify the man, woman, or pickup truck shown in the video or photographs, please contact the Cape Coral Police Department at (239) 574-3223.
