(June 15, 2016)- The Cape Coral Police Department would like to invite citizens to join us for a fun, engaging, and informative evening where your input will help shape the future of the Department.
Join Cape Coral Interim Police Chief Dave Newlan for a town hall workshop on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Westin Cape Coral Resort (Calusa Room), located at 5951 Silver King Blvd., here in Cape Coral.
Attendees will be broken out into three groups and will rotate through a series of three 10-minute, dynamic, interactive sessions, headed by the Chief and members of the Command Staff. The sessions will cover:
- Property Crime- Taking Aim at Vehicle Burglaries with "Lock It or Lose It"
- Tackling Traffic- Making our Roads Safer
- Taking the Pulse of the Community- Open Brainstorming Session
The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session where citizens are invited to ask questions about the state of the Cape Coral Police Department, crime, quality of life issues, and more. Members of the Command Staff, District Resource Coordinators (DRCs), and Public Affairs Officer (PAO) will be on hand to help answer your questions.
