(January 4, 2017) - A traffic stop made for failing to maintain a single lane led to an arrest for a concealed weapon and possession of heroin.

On January 3, 2017, Cape Coral Police made a traffic stop at the 4400 block of Pelican Boulevard for failing to maintain a single lane. Contact was made with the driver, Daniel Starr (DOB: 11-19-83). Starr appeared nervous, and had a 10 inch knife with brass knuckles within his immediate reach. Further investigation also revealed that he had never possessed a Florida driver's license, but DID possess two small baggies of heroin. Starr was placed under arrest and transported to the Lee County Jail.
