(December 7, 2017) -  The Cape Coral Police Department's Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics (VIN) Unit served a search warrant with the assistance of the SWAT Team, resulting in the arrest of a man for drug sales and weapons charges.

On December 6, 2017 the Cape Coral Police Department's VIN Unit and SWAT Team served a search warrant at 4842 Manor Court, Apt. B. The resident of the apartment, Dale Bonner (DOB: 2-1-60) was detained just outside the residence right before the warrant was served. Inside the residence officers located 6 pounds of marijuana, 14.8 grams of hydrocodone, two firearms, approximately $4,000 cash, paraphernalia for storing and packaging drugs, and a variety of pills. Bonner was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a park, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (2 counts), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription (5 counts), and trafficking in hydrocodone. Bonner was transported to the Lee County Jail.

CHARGES: Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell Within 1,000 feet of a Park, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon (2 counts), Possession of Controlled Substance Without Prescription (5 counts), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in Hydrocodone
