(February 23, 2017) - A heroin dealer was arrested for the second time in three months for attempting to traffic heroin in Cape Coral.

The Cape Coral Police Department's Vice, Intelligence, & Narcotics Unit (VIN) worked with the Street Crimes Unit and K9 units to develop a case against Steven Grover (DOB: 4-21-86), conducting several controlled purchases of heroin from him. On February 10, 2017, a traffic stop was made on Grover in the 1100 block of NE 16th Place after another controlled buy, and he was placed under arrest for several counts of sale and possession of heroin. This was Grover's second arrest for the same after being arrested by Cape Coral Police on November 3, 2016 for sale and possession of heroin.
