(February 27, 2017) - From February 20-24, 2017, the Cape Coral Police Department conducted a traffic saturation operation.
The operation was a saturation patrol that was conducted city-wide from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM each day. Officers were focused on identifying and taking impaired drivers off the road as well as targeting areas with traffic issues that cause crashes. In addition to traffic violations, this operation yielded 3 arrests for driving under the influence, driving without a license, and possession of marijuana.
