(May 10, 2017) - A burglar who tried to climb into the window of a home and was confronted by the homeowner has been arrested.

On May 1st, an unknown male attempted to make entry to a home in the 100 block of SE 12th Street by climbing through a window, and was confronted by the homeowner. The would-be burglar fled, and Cape Coral Police responded to the scene. Latent fingerprints were recovered and matched to Lorenzo Valcourt (DOB: 1-17-99), who was located by Cape Coral detectives, arrested and transported to the Lee County Jail.
