(July 20, 2017) - Detectives with the Cape Coral Police Department's Major Crimes Unit identified and located the subject who made threats against his workplace to a liquor store clerk, and determined after an interview that there was no credible threat.

The subject's former employer was also notified, and after speaking with all parties involved it was determined there was no concern for impending violence, and that no crime had been committed.

"The Cape Coral Police Department would like to thank everyone who sent us information and tips to allow us to very quickly identify and interview this man, and be able to determine that this was a matter of ill-advised venting of frustrations and not a true danger to society.
