(August 28, 2017) - The Cape Coral Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a pair of armed robbers who hit a 7-11 convenience store last night.

On August 28, 2017 at approximately 3:30 am, two males both armed with handguns and disguised robbed the 7-11 located at 825 Del Prado Blvd. South. Officers responded to the scene and quickly set up a perimeter, with Aviation and K-9 units also responding. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

One suspect was described as either light-skinned black or Hispanic and wearing a green sock on his left hand. The other male was white and carrying a Nike backpack with either purple or blue straps. No one was injured at the time of the robbery.

A Ping4alert! was sent at the time of the incident; initial information mistakenly listed two black males as suspects (above information is correct, one light-skinned black or Hispanic male, one white male).

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cape Coral Police Department at (239) 574-3223.
