ARRESTED: Alfonso Jack Williams II, B/M, DOB: 09/24/1987, of Cape Coral

DUI with Property Damage and DUI

Cape Coral Police responded to a reckless driver complaint where contact was made with the reckless driver and vehicle. Williams was found passed out in the driver’s seat of his vehicle as it came to rest crashed into his overhead garage door. At the end of the crash investigation, a DUI arrested was made. BREATH: Refused.

ARRESTED: Raudy Bulivar Jimenez- Castillo, W/M, DOB: 07/08/1970, of Cape Coral

DUI with Property Damage

Cape Coral Police responded to a traffic crash on Pondella Road. Th at-fault driver exhibited signs of impairment s a DUI investigation ensued. The field evaluations were performed poorly. BREATH: Refused.

ARRESTED: Leslie Sue Smotherman, W/F, DOB: 12/28/1961, of Cape Coral

DUI and Resisting Arrest without Violence

Cape Coral Police responded to Applebees in reference to an intoxicated female causing problems at the bar.  Contact was made with Smotherman, who was sitting in her parked vehicle (which was running) in the parking lot of the business.  Smotherman was extremely uncooperative with officers and would not open or unlock her vehicle door, communicating only through a small opening at the top of the window. A DUI investigation was initiated after she came out of the vehicle. Smotherman performed the field evaluations poorly and she was arrested. BREATH: 0.124 / 0.127.

ARRESTED: Harry Barth, W/M, DOB: 05/29/1975, of Cape Coral

CHARGES: DUI with Property Damage, DUI, and Leaving the Scene of a Traffic Crash

Cape Coral Police responded to a traffic crash. Barth failed to successfully negotiate the intersection at Veterans Memorial Pkwy & Country Club and struck another vehicle. Barth then left the scene driving southbound. The complainant followed Barth for serval blocks until they pulled over. Barth then switched places with his passenger, Bryan Bitomske, at which point they fled again and stopped in a neighborhood. Cape Coral Police arrived on scene, completed the Hit and Run investigation and began a DUI Investigation into both drivers after multiple signs of impairment were noted. BREATH: Refused.

ARRESTED: Bryan P. Bitomske, W/M, DOB: 06/24/1964, of New Hampshire

CHARGES: DUI

ARRESTED: Sierra Kathleen Mitchell, W/F, DOB: 01/07/2000, of Cape Coral

CHARGES: DUI with Passenger Under 18 years old and 2-counts of DUI with Property Damage

Cape Coral Police responded to a traffic crash at Miramar ST and Cape Coral ST. The at-fault driver, Mitchell, displayed signs of impairment. She performed poorly on the field evaluations and was arrested. BREATH: 0.00 / 0.00, URINE: Refused. A DRE responded to conduct an investigation. Inside Mitchell’s vehicle was a child under one year old.  

ARRESTED: Lester Jesus Marquez, W/M, DOB: 09/12/1990, of Cape Coral

CHARGES: DUI, DUI with Property Damage, and Leaving the Scene of a Traffic Crash

Cape Coral Police responded to a traffic crash on where a vehicle crashed into a LCEC utility pole and then Marquez walked away from the scene. Marquez was located and transported to a local hospital. BLOOD: 0.257.

ARRESTED: Damion Michael Gaddis, W/M, DOB: 02/18/1977, of Cape Coral

CHARGES: DUI, DUI with Property Damage, Hit and Run with Injury, and Corruption by Threat of Public Servant or Family

Cape Coral Police responded to a traffic crash. Gaddis was the driver of the at-fault vehicle and he left the scene. Multiply witnesses followed Gaddis and kept Cape Coral Police Department appraised of his travels until he was located. Officer arrived and began a hit and run crash investigation which transformed to a DUI investigation and ensuing arrest. Gaddis made threats that he would find the officer later and kill him. BREATH: Refused.
