(November 27, 2018)-  A nearly two month investigation nabs a drug dealer selling near a daycare.

Cape Coral Police detectives started investigating Matthew J. Worst (B/M, DOB: 07/03/1997, 4964 Viceroy St. #1) in the beginning of October 2018. He had sold drugs near a daycare on separate occasions. A search warrant was executed at his residence where more drugs and an AK-47 were located.

Worst was charged with 2-counts of Sale of Controlled Substance within 1000 feet of a Daycare, 2-counts of Sale of Marijuana within 1000 feet of a Daycare, 2-counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 2-counts of Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell, Possession of Marijuana under 20 grams, and 4-counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He was later transferred to the Lee County Jail.
