(April 30, 2018) - The Cape Coral Police Department made eight DUI arrests between April 23-29, 2018. Below is the information on these arrests:

 

ARRESTED: Maria De Los Angeles Hernandez-Serrano, W/F, DOB: 2-8-87, of 4149 Residence Drive, Fort Myers FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence, Possession of Controlled Substance Without Prescription

A CCPD Patrol officer was responding to a "man down" call for service at the Publix located at 100 Hancock Bridge Parkway when he saw the involved vehicle driving along Santa Barbara Boulevard.  A traffic stop was attempted, but the driver continued to travel for several blocks before coming to a stop. Contact with the driver, Maria Hernandez-Serrano, resulted in a DUI investigation and her arrest. A Drug Recognition Expert officer responded and conducted an evaluation which determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance. Hernandez-Serrano was also found in possession of several controlled substances (prescriptions) which she did not have a prescription for. She was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.

 

ARRESTED: Philip Hillman, W/M, DOB: 8-26-44, of 2909 SW 38th Terrace, Cape Coral FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence With BAC% Over .15%

Officers responded to a crash scene at the 800 block of Cape Coral Parkway East. Contact with Hillman resulted in a DUI investigation and his arrest. Hallman was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: .213 / .224

 

ARRESTED: Robert J. Sobol, W/M, DOB: 9-25-72, of 2430 SW 1st Terrace, Cape Coral FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence With BAC% Over .15%

Officers responded to an unknown problem "man down" call at the McDonalds located at 2925 SW Pine Island Road. The caller stated a man was passed out behind the wheel. Upon arrival officers began a DUI investigation leading to Sobol’s arrest. Sobol was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: .173 / .175

 

ARRESTED: Megan Crowe, W/F, DOB: 10-12-92, of 1712 SW 51st Terrace, Cape Coral FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence, DUI Property Damage

Officers responded to a crash scene at the 1600 block of SW Pine Island Road. Contact with Crowe resulted in a DUI investigation and her arrest. She was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: .124 / .125

 

ARRESTED: Victoria Petra Montanye, W/F, DOB: 3-20-79, of 4200 Pine Island Road, Matlacha FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence With Person Under 18 in Vehicle, Possession of Marijuana Under 20 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Officers stopped Montanye at the 1300 block of Santa Barbara Boulevard South for failing to maintain a single lane of travel and other indicators of impairment. Contact with Montanye resulted in a DUI investigation and her arrest. Montanye also had marijuana and a pipe in her possession. Montanye also had her 1 year old child in the car. Montanye was transported to the Lee County Jail. The child’s father responded to the scene and took custody of the child. BAC%: Refused.

 

ARRESTED: David Dwight Stutler, W/M, DOB: 3-15-66, of 618 SE 28th Terrace, Cape Coral FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence, DUI Property Damage

Officers responded to a crash at the 1700 block of NE Pine Island Road. Contact with Stutler resulted in a DUI investigation and his arrest. Stutler was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.

 

ARRESTED: Phillip Alexander Burkard, W/M, DOB: 5-31-89, of 11340 Longwater Chase Court, Fort Myers FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence, Refusal to Submit To Breath Test After Prior Refusal

Burkard was stopped at the 1700 block of Cape Coral Parkway East for failing to maintain a single lane. A DUI investigation resulted in Burkard's arrest. He was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.

 

ARRESTED: Douglas Marshall Heath, W/M, DOB: 4-8-77, of 152 NW 18th Place, Cape Coral FL.

CHARGES: Driving Under the Influence

Officers responded to an intoxicated male in the parking lot of the apartment building at the 400 block of Tudor Drive. Officers spoke with Douglas, who was intoxicated in the parking lot. Douglas stated that a friend was driving his vehicle and hit a curb, but no damage was found in the area. Douglas`s father arrived on scene to help get a tow for the vehicle. Douglas was left with his father. As officers were down the road getting ready to leave, they observed Douglas behind the wheel driving his vehicle with a flat tire down the road. Officers found Douglas pulling into his residence with his father following him. Douglas was detained and asked to participate in field sobriety exercises, which he refused. He was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.
