(June 4, 2018) - The Cape Coral Police Department made three DUI arrests between May 29-June 4, 2018. Below is the information on these arrests:
A CCPD Patrol officer stopped Lorenzi at the 800 block of Hancock Bridge Parkway for a speeding violation. Lorenzi showed signs of impairment and a DUI investigation ensued. Lorenzi performed poorly during field sobriety exercises and was placed under arrest. Lorenzi provided one breath sample of 0.133 but would not provide a second sample. He was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: .133 / Refused.
CCPD backed up a Lee County Sheriff's deputy on a traffic stop at the 1200 block of Burnt Store Road. LCSO relayed the driver was showing signs of impairment and had been driving 74mph in a 45mph zone. The CCPD officer then made contact and began a DUI investigation. Field sobriety exercises were conducted and Nell was found to be impaired. He was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.
Eiskamp was stopped at the 400 block of Chiquita Boulevard North after he failed to stop at a stop sign on his motorcycle. During the traffic stop several impairment clues were observed. Eiskamp refused both field sobriety exercises and a breath test, and was transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.
