(July 2, 2018) - The Cape Coral Police Department made three DUI arrests between June 26-July 2, 2018. Below is the information on these arrests:
Crecelius was initially arrested back in April for aggravated battery when he intentionally drove his vehicle into another vehicle at a high rate of speed during a domestic dispute. The CCPD Major Crash Investigator completed his follow-up investigation and served the additional charges on Crecelius at the Lee County Jail. A CCPD Patrol officer observed Perkins driving erratically at the 800 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway East. After being stopped, Perkins tried to conceal empty beer cans as he exited the vehicle. He performed poorly on field sobriety exercises and would not follow the appropriate directions for the breath test. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Lee County Jail. BAC%: Refused.
A CCPD Patrol officer observed an ATV driving at a high rate of speed northbound at the 1600 block of Andalusia Boulevard. Contact made with the driver (Alexandre) at Fire Station #5 by the officer, where Alexandre showed signs of impairment. Alexandre performed poorly on field sobriety exercises and was arrested for DUI. BAC%: .334 (Blood)
