(January 7, 2019)-  On Saturday January 5, 2019, the 2nd Annual Florida Gulf Coast K9 Competition took place at Island Coast High School. A total of twenty eight (28) K9s and handlers competed in the event; nineteen (19) law enforcement and nine (9) civilian. There was plenty of fun with vendors, bounce houses, food trucks, and of course a lot of K9 action. We can’t wait until next year!

Civilian Obstacle Course:

Fastest Dog:

  2. Jason Matyas and K9 Suka of the Cape Coral Police Department

  3. John Greene and K9 Roch of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office

Hardest Hitting Dog:

  1. Chris Indico and K9 Bryx of the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office

  2. Chris Gugliotta and K9 Jax of the Cape Coral Police Department

  3. Hunter Kearns and K9 Rugar of the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office
