(January 9, 2019)- On January 7, 2019 around 9:57 AM, Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service at 2307 Bolado Pkwy (Cape Coral Family Medicine) in reference to a criminal mischief that was later determined to also be a burglary and grand theft.
An employee of the business arrived at the office and walked around to the back door where it was noticed that three windows were broken. The Cape Coral Police Department was called and the employee waited for police arrival before going into the business. The victim responded and upon initial inspection, noticed numerous items had been stolen from the office.
Cape Coral Police Property Crimes Unit Detectives Costa and Christenson and Forensics responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.
On January 8, 2019, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit conducted a follow-up investigation where they were able to obtain information leading to the suspects involved in the burglary; Douglas Null (W/M, DOB: 11/01/1998), David Null (W/M, DOB: 11/01/1998) and Christopher Jason Volger Jr. (W/M, DOB: 03/09/2004).
A majority of the property was recovered but some is still outstanding.
David, Douglas, and Christopher were placed under arrest and charged with Burglary of a Structure, Grand Theft - over $5,000 but under $10,000, and Criminal Mischief over $1,000 dollars.
David, Douglas, and Christopher were transported to the Cape Coral Police Department for booking and later transferred to Lee County Jail (Null brothers) and the Juvenile Assessment Center (Volger Jr.).
