(February 5, 2019)-  On February 4, 2019 around 6:34 PM Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service at 516 Hancock Bridge Pkwy E in reference to an aggravated assault.

The victim reported that she was involved in an altercation with her next door neighbor in the adjoining duplex. The next door neighbor was identified as Raymond Lee McIntyre III (W/M, DOB: 02/08/1971, of 514 Hancock Bridge Pkwy E). McIntyre put his two children in a car as the victim stood in the front yard, near where McIntyre had his car parked. The victim was attempting to grab her cellphone to video record McIntyre.

McIntyre put the vehicle in drive and drove toward the victim and then slammed on the brakes but not before vehicle’s front bumper grazed the victim’s pants. Mcintyre then backed up and drove around the victim and left the area. There were no injuries sustained in this incident.

A Cape Coral Police Officer located Mcintyre in his vehicle a short time later. During contact, Suboxone was located in McIntyre’s vehicle. Based on the investigation it was determined that there was probable cause for the arrest of McIntyre.

McIntyre was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

McIntyre was later transferred Lee County Jail.
