(February 6, 2019)- DUI arrests January 31, 2019 through February 6, 2019.
Cape Coral Police stopped Paul for running a stop sign. Paul exhibited indicators of impairment and a DUI investigation ensued. Paul performed poorly on the filed evaluations and was arrested. BREATH: Refused.
Cape Coral Police responded to a traffic crash where Estes drove his Jeep Wrangler into a house at 800 El Dorado Pkwy West, causing damage to the front doors to the residence. Estes then left the scene of the crash and was located at Pelican Blvd and Cape Coral Pkwy with frontend damage to his vehicle. Estes exhibited signs of impairment upon contact and following the hit & run investigation, a DUI investigation began. Estes performed poorly on the field evaluations and was placed under arrest. BREATH: 0.151 / 0.148.
Cape Coral Police stopped Ferrer for erratic driving and failing to maintain a single lane. Upon contact, Ferrer exhibited signs of impairment and a DUI investigation ensued. Ferrer performed poorly on the field evaluations and was arrested for DUI. Ferrer had several suspensions on his driver’s license. BREATH: Refused.
Cape Coral Police responded to a suspicious vehicle that was running and stopped in the roadway at the 200 block of SE 24th Avenue. Upon officer arrival and made contact with the driver, Paul Johnson, who was sitting inside of the vehicle asleep behind the wheel. The vehicle was still running and in drive. Johnson exhibited indicators of impairment and a DUI investigation ensued. BREATH: Refused.
Cape Coral Police stopped Wielgosz for driving 54-mph in a 40-mph zone. Wielgosz exhibited signs of impairment and a DUI investigation was initiated. Wielgosz were performed the field evaluations poorly and was placed under arrest. BREATH: 0.212 / 0.213.
Cape Coral Police responded to a hit and run traffic crash where Trapp was the at-fault driver at the 2500 block of Santa Barbara Blvd S. Cape Coral Police located Trapp who was still behind the wheel of her vehicle and found to be impaired. BREATH: 0.225 / 0.232.

Mario Dominguez, W/M, DOB: 11/08/1977, of 426 SW 26th ST
CHARGES: DUI with a BAC Over .15 and DUI with Property Damage
This was a follow-up from a traffic crash that occurred on 10/20/2018. The blood results received revealed that Dominguez had a Blood Alcohol Content of 228.
Cape Coral Police responded to a hit and run traffic crash. Cape Coral Police were able to locate the at-fault driver, Palmisano, who exhibited indicators of impairment. A DUI investigation ensued and he was arrested for above listed charges. BREATH: Refused.
Cape Coral Police responded to a call for service in reference a male driver that was hunched forward over the steering wheel and was not breathing. Contact was made with Pflueger, who exhibited signs of impairment. Pflueger was arrested for DUI. BREATH: 0.306 / 0.302.
